Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any travel services with Ghildiyal Bandhu Travels ("we", "us", "Company"). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings must be confirmed via WhatsApp (+91 9897681621) or email (ghildiyalbandhutravels@gmail.com).
- A booking is considered confirmed only after written confirmation from our team and receipt of the agreed advance payment.
- Prices quoted are valid for the date of enquiry and may change until a booking is confirmed.
2. Payment Terms
- An advance payment (typically 25–50% of total cost) is required to confirm your booking.
- The balance is payable before departure or as agreed at the time of booking.
- Payments are accepted via Cash, UPI, or Bank Transfer.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation charges apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: 10% of total booking cost
- 15–30 days before departure: 25% of total booking cost
- 7–14 days before departure: 50% of total booking cost
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of total booking cost (non-refundable)
Cancellation charges for Char Dham Yatra and other peak season packages may differ and will be communicated at the time of booking.
4. Changes to Itinerary
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road conditions, government orders, natural disasters, or force majeure events beyond our control.
- In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements of equal or better value at no additional cost, or a full refund where alternatives are not possible.
- No refunds will be made for itinerary changes caused by natural calamities, landslides, or government-imposed restrictions.
5. Health & Fitness Requirements
- High-altitude treks and certain pilgrimages require reasonable physical fitness. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions must consult their doctor before booking.
- We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe a traveller's health may be put at risk.
- Travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended for all Himalayan treks and pilgrimage packages.
6. Liability
- Ghildiyal Bandhu Travels acts as a travel organiser and is not liable for loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, pony operators, etc.).
- We are not responsible for losses arising from weather conditions, natural disasters, political disturbances, or any other force majeure events.
- Travellers are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times.
7. Vehicle & Transportation
- Our drivers are experienced in mountain roads and hold valid commercial driving licences.
- In the interest of safety, the driver's decision regarding road and weather conditions is final.
- Vehicles are maintained and regularly serviced. However, in the event of a breakdown, we will arrange alternative transport at the earliest.
8. Code of Conduct
- Travellers are expected to respect local customs, religious sentiments, and environmental guidelines, especially near temples and in eco-sensitive zones.
- We reserve the right to terminate services without refund for travellers who behave in a manner deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
